OK FURNITURE VREDENBURG SUCKS

Bought a JVC entertainment system from them on 17.09.2021 under the surmise that it carries a 2 year warranty. On 4.3.2022, the system was returned as 3 of the speakers are not functioning. Now here is where I, for the first time hear that the speakers do not fall under the warranty! Sales person starts taking pictures of the speaker box, as if to say the system was abused. Now, I did not complain about the exterior of the speakers, but about the fact that they are simply not working. In the meantime, the manageress joins the party. When asking her if I bought a TV set, and its speaker goes silent, will the then expect me to only look at the pictures on screen with no sound? Yep, no answer there. Rep**** with the roll of her eyes..... Very unprofessional. I bought the damn system for the sound it should and could produce via the speakers! Why else then buy an expensive system? Surely not for the amplifier... I have now taken this up under the CPA by means of lodging a formal complaint So, before you buy any entertainment system here, do your homework! Insist they write the warranty terms and conditions on your invoice, and sign it! I for one, will never, ever make use of them again. Once bitten, twice shy.
