Ok Furniture over promise

On Thursday the 22nd November 2018, a day before Black Friday. My wife and I walked into Ok Furniture in Savannah Mall, Polokwane. The effort was to shop around for a bed and mattress protectors that we know exactly where to go on the day. We where received by one consultant named Hellen. Walked us through their Beds and the promotions they where to have the following day. She further talked us into making the purchase on the day and that those monies will go into their business savings account. They would then transfer it on the Friday when the promotion will be running, noting we would not need to come into store, especially since they didn't even have the Beds available for collection, not even in any of their warehouses. We where promised we'd receive it by mid December 2018. On Sunday, the 25th I went into store, just to confirm the delivery addresses and that our address was correctly captured. It was then surprising to hear Hellen, the sales consultant, say that they where too busy to can capture our purchase. I was then pushed into making a decision to withdraw the monies we had paid them. When I refused, I was then told that I had to pay an additional R2.5K for that same bed as there was nothing they could do. I boldly told her that it wasn't our problem, we did what was expected of us. Now they just had to deliver on their promise. She then apologised insisting not even her manager could do anything about it as they had spoke about it. I was told to return on Monday the 26th. Again I took time off my day to address the matter. The consultant failed to mention she wasn't coming to work. I then spoke to Colman, the Branch manager who pretty much gave us the middle finger. He reiterated that we had to either pay in an additional R2.5K or we get our money back. When I requested he takes it up to his superiors, he stated he'd already done it and there's nothing that could be done. I reminded him that we are consumers and we have rights. We just want what we paid for. He seemed not to understand the extent of the inconvenience he caused.
