Negligence from OK Furniture Meyerton Branch

I purchased a LG TV from OK Furniture 2015, Octover. Recently, the TV started flickering when my wife switched it on. I told her not to worry as I had an extended warranty on the TV.

I tool the TV in and was reassured that it was still under warrantee and the TV would be sent in for repairs.

1 week later I was phoned and told they won't fix the TV as it is not under warrantee. We argued and it was then found that the contract was incorrectly processed by the manager that time and the TV was indeed under warrantee. Not to worry I was told, the TV will be sent for repairs.

2 weeks later I receive a message saying my claim has been repudiated due to customer negligence. I called OK and they said they won't after all be fixing the TV as the TV has been tampered with.

I knew I had never ever tampered with the TV and thought I will have it out with them when they tell me to fetch my TV. Today, I went to collect my TV. The TV has a big scratch on the screen and along the sides!!!! A flickering screen has now turned into my TV being damaged probably beyond repair.

I am so upset, disappointed, disgusted and I can't believe this is happening. From beginning to end the whole transaction has been one story after another.

I have left my TV there so they can answer for the scratches. Please can someone over there assist me? I mean, u don't expect that when u send ur things in for repairs that they will damage it more!
