Look at your slip before you leave the store

So yesterday me and my partner went to go buy a microwave at OK Furniture in Eyethu Mall at Orange Farm. We were interested in the DEFY DM0381 20LT MIRROR MANUAL however there was no price attached to it so I went to look for someone to assist us - the guy was very helpful and he went the extra mile of even checking the other 2 microwaves next to the one we were interested in, as the one we wanted did not have a box and was the one expensive out of the 3 as he said the White one was R1050 the black one was R1100 and the one we wanted was R1150 he further said that if we were to buy the one we wanted he will have to wrap it up in a bubble plastic as it was the last one and it did not have a box so he advised we take the other one's which had boxes but I was persistent on the DEFY DM0381 20LT MIRROR MANUAL - so he gave me a piece of paper to take it to the cashier and pay the R1150 for the microwave and I did just that. As I was at the till I counted my money and it was R1100 and I asked my partner for a R50 which he came to me at the till and gave me, I paid the lady at the till R1150 (which was what the guy said was the amount) (Cashier=bca05) and she gave me the slip with R1. 00 as change, so my biggest mistake was not to look at the slip. We went to the guy who was assisting us and he gave us the paperwork, the microwave was wrapped up in bubble plastic as he said, we took the microwave and proceeded to the security who asked me to sign the papers and we then left the shop, the security guy came chasing us and told us that he gave us the wrong paper we all laughed and he gave us the correct one. Today as I am putting the slip and paper work in a safe place I noticed the slip said the microwave was R1049 and I had tendered R1050 which was not true I gave the lady R1150 and she gave me R1 change. I called the shop and I was assisted by a lady called Cecilia - she said she will ask the lady who assisted me and will get back to me - she did just that however she said they did not have a surplus when they were cashing in yesterday and the slip said I gave the lady R1050 and the is no proof of what I am saying - which is true. I'm writing this review to advise others that like me to always look at the slip before they leave the shop - as such cashier pry on that, R200 may look like a small money to other but in this pandemic it is a lot to us. I urge OK to look into their staff as this is day light ******* and this gives the business a bad name. I have lost trust in OK Furnitures and they have lost a customer in me.
