Hard done by POS and a broken leg
On friday 28 Feb I went to look for a 3D TV, 3D DVD Player and Refrigerator at OK Furniture. We started processing the cash deal but when it was time for me to pay at the Point of Sale we found that the machine wasn't working. The lady that was helping me made arrangements that her colleague would help me complete the sale on sunday the 1st of March since she won't be working.

Though it was already an inconvenience for me to come back on a Sunday since I had a trip, I made arrangements to be there. Upon getting there the POS was not working again. I was told to return on Monday after work to try again but just after leaving the store I had an accident which resulted in a hospital admittal. On the Monday morning the sales lady called me asking if I will still make the payment to which I said yes but explain that I was hospitalized and would be back in a few days to make the payment. Upon returning to the store a new deal had to be done and I must now pay R600 more since the prices changed, let alone the inconvenience of driving to and from OK. I cannot be made to pay more when it is the store that was at fault. They know their machine was faulty so why is the burden now on me?
