Dissatisfactory of customer service and refund process

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Belhar OK Furniture, and I must say that I am thoroughly disappointed with their customer service and overall business ethics. After purchasing a large couch from their store and encountering a significant issue during delivery, couch had to be returned same day because it couldn't fit in the door, delivery guys had to take it back. I decided to request a refund within their stated return policy. However, my request was met with resistance, and it didn't stop there – they added another layer of inconvenience by insisting on refunding me with cash only when they receive it at their store, even though I had originally made the purchase using a card payment method. This left me with an extended waiting period for my refund, all while I am renting an apartment and unable to control the situation.

My interaction with Belhar OK Furniture left me with several negative impressions:

Refusal to Honor Their Own Policies: Belhar OK Furniture has a clearly stated return policy on their website and in their store. However, they blatantly refused to adhere to their own policy when I requested a refund. This lack of integrity is unacceptable.

Ineffective Communication: Getting in touch with their customer service team was a nightmare. Emails went unanswered, phone calls were ignored, and when I did manage to speak with someone, they were unhelpful and unapologetic about the situation.

Payment Handling Inconsistencies: Belhar OK Furniture originally accepted my card payment for the couch purchase, but when it came to the refund, they insisted on cash-only transactions, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience.

I would strongly caution anyone considering shopping at Belhar OK Furniture to think twice. Their refusal to provide a refund the same way the payment was made is not only disappointing but also a clear violation of consumer rights. There are plenty of reputable furniture stores out there that prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold their return policies. Unfortunately, Belhar OK Furniture is not one of them.
