Disgusted by the service
I am completely disgusted by the level of service provided. Timeline on events: 08/06/2018 - Bought a z2 from your Wynberg branch - didn't have stock so I paid for the Item and Sales person confirmed that it would be delivered on Monday 11/06/2018. At point of sale no terms and conditions were explained - the sales person said if you wait to long we can refund you. I specifically mentioned to her that I would take it out on my partners name as I did not have my ID available she responded saying , no you don't need your ID or anything like that. On Tuesday, 12/06/2018 - I have heard nothing from OK furniture with regards to the phone that should have been delivered the previous day. I go into the Wynberg branch and the manager explains that I need my ID and at this point I am Livid as this was not explained to me at all - what would happen if I was not in possession of an ID - does that mean I would not be eligle for my own money that is due to me. Anyway, so I make my way to the Claremont branch hoping that they would be able to assist me - only to be told at 17h20 the evening that they don't have money in the till - bear in mind I heard the one cashier confirm that she has R350 in her till - when questioning this they explain that they need atleast a R1000 in order to process a refund of R300. The manager Mr Herman then calls the wynberg branch as according to him they have not followed the correct process blah blah blah. Keep in mind I have travelled from Capricorn To Wynberg To Claremont and now I do not have taxi fair to get home but your staff could not be the slightest bit bothered and turned m e away. 13/06/2018 - I travel to the wynberg branch - taking time off from work to get this issue resolved and they advise "Sorry we do not have a R300 in our till" at 13h00 this afternoon I go back to the Claremont Branch only to be told, We will call you when we have a R300 to refund you. This is unacceptable and the worst form of customer service I have ever experienced. Why must the customer take the punch for process errors on your end? What more must I spend on taxi fee to have this resolved in addition to the hours and money lost at work only to hit another dead-end.
I need you to contact me ASAP with a resolution to this.
