denied insurance claim

i bought a Laptop @ ok in May 2015 on credit, included in my contract was insurance for it. In November same year i decided to settle the account. In December same year i had a buglary at my apartment and the laptop was ****** so when i went to report for an insurance claim, they said i cannot claim as i have settled the account. I tried calling the insurance department but no is picking up the phone. I am always directed to Anna but she never picks up the phone.
