Broken Trust
<p>after having an account with them since 2015, for the past 6 months I have been unemployed and haven't been paying their account up to date but have spoken to Margo from their collections team several times and made minimum arrangements with her on the account which I have tried my outmost best and made sure I pay the account monthly, now on the 30th of March early hours of the morning called them in to let them know that I am now working, so I would like for an debit order to be set up on my account. Their response was that they can not set up a debit order at this point in time for me I have to go to store to make cash payments (spoken to Belinda Louw) same day around past 2 in the afternoon received a call from home to say that my TV was being repossesd by a very rude and vulgar guy named Verno Chatty who disclosed my information to my family which I thought was confidential and was between me and OK store to discuss not someone else!I feel offended by this act and don't they have a condifentiality clause or something to protect their customers information?I immediately called the branch again to ask what is happening as I thought we had an arrangement in the morning about the account when I called, the receptionist kept telling me to hand on as the person who I need to speak to was unavailable, I held on the line for more than 20 minutes and tried calling back more than 5 times until I spoke to Belinda who was so annoyed when speaking to me and repeated the same arrangement I made with her when I called and she told me to rather go and make cash payments, which I did straight after work and only to get home and was told of how rude and loud their guy namely Verno Chatty was in the house going on about how bad I was paying my account, now I called them in say this morning again inform them about this even called their customer line and was so dissapointed to hear that there is nothing they could do about the matter but I feel my regths as a consumer have been violated because they had the guts to disclose all information about my account to my family who knew nothing about the account and because I called in to make an arrangement does n't that count for anything?</p>
