OK FOODS Sunnhyridge Manager goes the Extra Mile For Customers

I had a problem with the Ok Foods Sunnyridge loyalty card when I spent more than R500.00. So, I get to the till point and suddenly the loyalty card system goes offline. Being a pensioner, that was devastating because I use the loyalty card on rainy days when my grant runs out. I thought this was the end of the world, I really did.

I asked one of the managers, Eddie Bianco, to help me. He took a photo of my transaction slip and phoned the loyalty card people in front of me and my husband. The card company dragged their feet about this, but Eddie kept on pushing them. He phoned them every day. He harassed them. He wouldn't let up. Now here's the thing, the loyalty card people did not pay my loyal points. they were just not interested. Do you know what Mr. Bianco did? He took his own money out of his pocket and paid me the value of the loyalty points. I was so grateful.

So, here's to you Mr. Bianco. Thank you so very much for helping me out when I needed it most. The Ok needs more people like you, in fact, all businesses need people like you who sympathise and empathise with their customers. I'm not saying this because I'm a pensioner. I have seen with my own eyes how the management at this particular Ok franchise treat their customers and staff, they are true examples. And Mr. Bianco is truly a manager that cares. He is friendly. Likes to communicate. Ensures the customers walk out of the store feeling better than when they walked in, Well, for me anyway.

In closing, this is a branch that cares and it's all because of people like Eddie Bianco. Thank you.
