OK foods- owners you CAN'T count on!!!!

Ok Foods Columbine's owner Clifford is the most unkind and rude person at the store. Their shelving pricing never matches the pricing at the tills. A few weeks ago I went to purchase toilet paper. There was 2 shelves filled with 4 pack 2 ply toilet paper on both shelves. I took one pack it was R27.99 got to the till and it was R47.99. I then told the cashier that, that is not the price on the shelf. We went to check and indeed it wasn't however the price R27.99 was for 1 ply. When I showed the cashier that there was no one ply on the shelf only 2 she agreed that it was their mistake. She called the packer and with an attitude he removed the 2 ply from the shelf. I asked to speak to the manager he was very apologetic about it but then the owner came and I explained everything to him. His response was that a customer must have put the toilet paper there I need to check the barcodes on the pricing and that I just want to strike a bargain. I said to him if it was just one pack I would understand but the whole shelf is full of 2 ply. I then asked him how long am I gonna shop if I have to check every barcode on every item? That is not my job that is why they have packers. He responds by saying they had no packers over the festive season and they're independent packers so it's not his problem! HE IS THE OWNER!!! HOW CAN IT NOT BE HIS PROBLEM???.

I called their head office to explain what had happened to this dayni am still waiting for a response. Saturday we went to get a few groceries and firstly I noticed their JC le Roux was quite cheap R49.99 a bottle but then I actually 'checked' the barcode and noticed that it wasn’t JC le roux but a price tag for charcoal yet the shelf is packed fully with bottles of JC leroux. We then proceeded with our shopping and got to the dairy products the parmalat 6pack yogurts where on special for 14.99 I made sure it was parmalat yogurt before taking it and note that the price tag was in front of a fully packed shelf of 6 pack parmalat yogurt.

Finished our shopping and guess what got to the till and the yogurt scanned 19.99⁹ instead of 14.99. This time I was really not impressed because I checked the "price tag and made sure it was parmalat yogurt. The cashier went to check and indeed it was. She called the manager and they checked and again the manager apologized but they refused to change the pricing. The manager called Clifford the owner. And again his way of handing everything was very unprofessional. He Ctually walked away while my husband spoke to him. I recorded everything and took photos of the items on the shelve with the wrong pricing.

Ok Foods logo says owners you can count on. This surely isn't an owner you can count on. Blames independent packers for the mess on his shelves and doesn't take accountability thereof. He is OK FOODS Columbine not the independent packers.

We will no longer be shopping at this store
