Second hand chair delivery from Office Stock
A dental Draughtsman chair (3059B) was delivered to our premises in Cape Town on the 29th of January 2021. The chair was not packaged and it was obviously not a new chair. I sent detailed photographs of the following to the sales person in Johannesburg: Worn castors Damage to the back rest Paint missing from the vertical support and the support was bent Various scratches I have no doubt that Office Stock was unaware of what happened here, but I am not willing to accept this delivery. On Monday the 1st of February 2021, I was promised that the chair would be replaced. It is now Friday the 12th and no show. I'm not without sympathy for Office Stock. This must have been without intent, but not acceptable either. The chair will be returned in the same condition is was received and I request a full refund and an apology would also be nice.
Good for you, Office Stock.
The chair is fine and I accept the replacement.

My review is based on personal experience in response to the quality of your service.
- I find your response patronizingly personal and ill founded.
- You are responding to a question that was never asked...(I never suggested that the "transporter" might have damaged the chair.)
- The presupposition that I lack basic knowledge, to the extent that I'm unfami**** with the normative interpretation of "a few days", is unfounded.
- If you did your basic homework, you would have known that I have been in the service industry since 1986 and you are more than welcome to contact any of my clients for a reflection on the quality of my service.
- According to you, SARS-CoV-2, the transporter and my impatience are to blame.
Shame on you.
And by the way, my surname is Wille.
No further comment.
