Lucy (store manager) and Nthabiseng (supervisor) from Office London south gate wouldn't go an etra mile for me as a customer
I lay-bought an adidas campus sneaker for (R2000) at Office London south gate mall in May with an amount of R300, then Sunday 14th July 2024 I went back to the store around 4pm and paid and amount of R1700 and went home with my sneaker. only for me to find out that the sneaker is damaged but because the shoes laces are wider, they hid where the sneaker is torn when you place a shoe lace so I didn't notice at the shop so I only got to notice at when I took out the shoe laces and put on the white shoe laces to see how would the sneaker look with white shoes laces because the sneakers came with green and white shoe laces.
on Tuesday July 16th, 2024, on my way from work, I passed at the south gate store and explained to the store manager and supervisor what had transpired and the only thing they could say was that they're out of stock on that color and size and that I should try another color. why would I try another color when i had chosen a green color? they also offered me a refund.
this is way deeper than a refund, all I need is for office London to get me my size on the same sneaker and color. it's not my problem that the staff is ***********, how come they stayed with my sneaker for 3 months without doing the necessary checks? I have plans already made, themes to adhere to with that sneaker, in that color. for a whole 3 months I knew that I had a sneaker and made sure I pay on time because I have outfits and invitations to honor wearing that sneaker. I even have a feeling these people knew that the sneaker was torn/damaged, they realized that the shoelaces on the sneaker was wide enough to cover or hide the torn part, so am now left with a damaged sneaker. I need for office London to either give me a 70% discount, refund me 60% and I get to carry on with that sneaker or they get me same sneaker color and size. these people have inconvenienced badly, and their service is bad. they didn't even apologize, for them it was about them giving my money back, I want a discount and keep the sneaker, or they get me same sneaker in a good condition.
had they checked the sneaker, I would have gone to other shops and buy from them, they've wasted my whole 3 months thinking I have a sneaker only to find that they sold damaged goods to me with a normal price.
and also, it's the bad service from the store manager and her supervisor, they just didn't care. they told me there's nothing they can do. Am hurt.
on the same day, I also tried calling Office London's head office/ complaints department, they told me there's nothing they can do.
