Octotel, I wish there was another option in my area.
Rating 1 only because I am not able to rate 0. New fibre service is down after less than 2 weeks. ISP confirms it is an Octotel issue, but Octotel will not be able to attend to it today, at best it will be more than 24 hours later. Happy to take my money for a service which is not available, but also very quick to point out that they are within SLA - an SLA is only useful when there is service to begin with, what consumers are expected to accept from ISPs and FNOs as 'SLAs' is laughable at best.

I know it is an Octotel issue, but the reality is this:
1) My FTTH contract is with RSAWeb.
2) RSAWeb takes my money every month.
3) It is for RSAWeb to ensure Octotel (or whatever fibre provider is used), resolves the issue.
) even if I wanted to, I cannot contact Octotel directly, I need to work via RSAWeb, only to be told the clock on the call has stopped since it has been logged with Octotel.
I am so disappointed in the service at my new address as opposed to my previous address where I complemented RSAWeb and said I will recommend you to others.
Right now I am looking hard for reasons to not just cancel with you and move to another ISP, but on the other hand, ISP service in general in South Africa is poor, and ISPs also do not really care if they lose one client along the way.
