Accident

Good day

I have a problem on Monday the 26th of August at approximately 10:10 i was traveling with my car i20, Reg:CAA 476 as a passenger someone was driving for me, we were going to Cape Town from Nyanga.

While we were traveling on N2 direction to Cape Town, the step ladder of the company called "OCTOTEL SUPER FAST FIBRE INTERNET" fell off their NP200 Nissan Bakkie Reg: CA 352 525 on the road and it was raining. The vehicle that was infront of us just stopped but our vehihicle tryed to stop but couldn't stop because the road was wet unfortunately we bumped into the vehicle that was infront of us.

Traffic arrived with a vehicle Reg: CAA 180 224 and assisted us to move the vehicle from the road. The driver and his colleague of the company "OCTOTEL" admitted that it's their fault, that's were third party supposed to be app****.

The "OCTOTEL" driver called their manager and he arrived driving "OCTOTEL" i20 vehicle Reg:CA 317 971 contact *** we spoke with him and exchanged the contact details, they agreed that they gonna take my vehicle to were they fix their company vehicles in Pleamstead to fix the damage.

We went to ATLONE SAPS with "OCTOTEL" driver of the Bakkie for accident report, and we received an ARN 190/08/2024. The problem now is that we never received any update from them until i asked the "OCTOTEL" manager on Wednesday 28th, he told me that he sent my drivers details to their insurance company and the Insurance company will call my driver for more details, up until today we never heard anything from them.

On Friday 6th of September I went to Speedy yard to Tow my Vehicle and i paid about 11k for the starage because i'm desparetely in need of my vehicle to be fixed as soon as possible because I travel with it when i go to work.
