OCTOGEN Will Make Your Life A Living Hell!!!
Signed up with Octogen in 2015. The WORST MISTAKE of my life!
If I could give Octogen a minus 5 rating, I would gladly do it!
Got my clearance certificate in Nov 2022. Octogen sent me email confirmation with my monthly bond repayment amount and to confirm that there is no arrears on my bond account. From Nov I have been paying my bond myself and more than the amount Octogen suggested I pay. In March 2023 I receive an email from lawyers stating my bond account is almost 50k in arrears. I have been sending Octogen emails, but as always. No response.
The most horrible service I have ever received!

With reference to and in response of your posting above.
Please be advised that your clearance certificate was issued in November 2022. When this happens the debt counsellor no longer holds a mandate of any sort to act on your behalf. Prior to this document being issued you were provided with an email as received from the Bank, which was very explicit around the Bond and the repayment thereof once you have exited the debt review process.
If there was any doubt in your mind as the bond holder, relating to the payments etc. going forward, the onus is on you to contact the Bank and obtain a directive.
The Debt Counsellor is no longer in a position to get involved, as you have exited the process legally.

When I communicated this to you, did you respond....NO YOU DID NOT! All communication was sent to you! You had 60 day to get back to the bank, which you did not. Or even bother to inform me.
You made payments on my bond on my behalf for the past 7year. ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY THE ALMOST 50K IS BECAUSE OF ME PAYING MY BOND FOR THE LAST 4MONTHS?????

What you fail to mention is that I tried contacting the bank. They could not give me any info because there records showed that I was under debt review.
