Horrible treatment by Octogen debt review

I have been under debt review with Octogen for years now, I was getting statements that shows my debts are being paid, when I thought am done with payments I then get a consultant calling me that my standard bank credit card is in arrears and they were not aware of that account all this years. I finally settled that arrears, I called in today to find out what is the way forward. Nthabiseng told me to request for paid up letter from standard bank and she then mentioned that they still waiting for paid up letter from MBD That came as a surprise to me, when I asked why are they not getting that letter, she was so defensive saying that they made lots of follow up with no results and that I should call MBD to request it. I called MBD only to find that my account is with legal and apparently owing R9700 ,which made me wonder what are this people been paying all this years. I called Octogen requesting to speak to a consultant, I was transfered over and over with no one answering, when it finally got answered by Nobuhle at reception who refused to give her surname, such a horrible attitude towards clients , no listening skill at all, no interested in helping at all, couldn't even provide answers when asked questions, ended up dropping phone in my ear. What an experience to have with a company that you trusted to take care of your affairs and this is what you get from them after so long. Very frustrating as one was hoping by now name will be cleared so I can move on with my life , but is clear I wasted my money more than anything my time as I find myself where I was in 2017.

I will not advice or encourage anyone to use this company, I wish I knew better.
