I am writing to formally address my ongoing dissatisfaction with the handling of my account and deposit refund following my children’s withdrawal from Nova Pioneer Northriding in December 2024. As you are aware, the primary reason for their withdrawal was financial strain, which left my account in arrears. In good faith, I provided the school with the required three months’ notice to secure the return of my deposit, explicitly requesting that it be allocated toward settling the outstanding balance—not refunded to me directly. Despite this reasonable request, I have faced persistent pushback and outright rejection from the accounts department, leaving my account unresolved. This refusal to apply the deposit as requested—especially when it would have resolved the arrears—is not only unreasonable but, in my view, constitutes unfair financial retention.
