Nthabeleng Motlohi

Had the bad experience of dealing with Nthabeleng Motlohi. Paid my account on 2022/03/30 after I requested a settlement amount. She specifically instructed that I should forward her POP and I did that.

She will keep quiet and won't acknowledge receipt of my emails and will only respond sometimes when I asked her about the update on closing the account. From that day until early today when she responds she will say she is still waiting to be updated. This happened everytime I will ask her.

She would not keep me updated and gave me the impression that she did not care. Only today after I asked her who to escalate my matter to she told me that it takes 7 to 21 days to be updated. She had all the time to advise me about the turnaround time but chose to withhold that part of the information. I had to bag for the information and until bout later today she gave me the information.

She is flatly refusing to give the address of the person responsible for taking customer 's complaints. I accept I owed the bank but that doesn't give her the right to be so nonchalant when dealing with my matter. Maybe it's not important to her but it's very important for me to have my profile updated. If this are the kind of agents the company has dealing with us I am very disappointed

Dear Mr. Rasego,

Thank you for raising your concern with us and for the payments that you have made towards settling your account.

Kindly be advised that a Paid-up Letter was sent to you on the 14th April 2022; and that a request was sent to Nedbank with regards to them updating your ITC Status with the respective Credit Bureaus.

For a follow-up on your matter, kindly contact the Credit Bureau @ ***; or kindly contact Nedbank directly @ ***.

Kindly take note of these friendly reminders; ·         The client generates the paid-up letter upon receipt of the payment and same should reflect on your account within 14x days.·         Upon receipt of your payment, the credit provider must send the information to the Credit Bureau within 7x days to update your profile. ·         The Credit Bureau then has 7x days from receiving the updated information from the Credit Provider to update it on the Credit Bureau. ·         If this has not been done for whatever reason, you can contact the Credit Bureau directly to provide them with the paid-up letter. ·         Kindly be advised that the general Credit Bureau update process takes roughly some days, and is thereafter dependent on the relevant Credit Bureau’s internal timelines.
Trust that you find the above in order.

Kind Regards
Norton Lambrianos Attorneys
