Default data is removed when the default is paid off in full. Once the default has been paid, the lender has seven days to update their information and inform the credit bureaus of the paid-up status. The bureaus, in turn, have seven days from receiving the notification from the lender, to amend the credit report.

Had to mail them again to ask for letter of confirmation, finally I did receive it. Now still they did not give it to Credit bureaus to update. Default still on my name. Easy for them to add you on, then they don't update payments at all. When will it end. So so so sick and tired of it.

Paid up letters and adverse removals from credit bureaus often take a bit longer as there are multiple parties involved. Norton Lambrianos sometimes facilitate the paid up letter request process between parties.

Norton Lambrianos is not able to list and remove people from the credit bureau as we are not a credit provider.
