No response!!!!!

My credit info still shows that I am in arrears on my Standard Bank account although all arrears payments have been made and confirmed by one of your senior consultant. I have sent a lot of mails and this issue is still unresolved. You are quick to make contact when payments are due, but not when a service from you is required.

Dear Mr. Van Der Westhuizen

Thank you for raising your concern with us.

Kindly be advised that for a person to receive his/her Paid-Up Letter and have their ITC status changed, a debt account has to be paid off fully in this regard.

We would also like to advise you that Norton Lambrianos Attorneys are not liable for updating ITC Statuses with the respective Credit Bureaus. As this is the responsibility of our client (Standard Bank).  Kindly take note of these friendly reminders for future; · The client generates the paid-up letter upon receipt of the payment and same should reflect on your account within 14x days.· Upon receipt of your payment, the credit provider must send the information to the Credit Bureau within 7x days to update your profile. · The Credit Bureau then has 7x days from receiving the updated information from the Credit Provider to update it on the Credit Bureau. · If this has not been done for whatever reason, you can contact the Credit Bureau directly to provide them with the paid-up letter. · Kindly be advised that the general Credit Bureau update process takes roughly some days, and is thereafter dependent on the relevant Credit Bureau’s internal timelines.  I trust that you find the above in order.

Kind Regards
Norton Lambrianos Attorneys
