10 Jan 2022, 10:45I spoke to a person by the name of Mbali. The RCS account has been written off as prescribed debt with Experian and is now off my name. However, I am still under debt review for this account and I need to submit a paid up letter or prescribed letter for this RCS account. Mbali says that I need to submit a prescribed letter to them(which is nonsense), but I asked her from where and her response was "I don't know". How are you guys of any help??

Experian is one of 33 credit bureaus in SA and they act on information given by credit providers with due consideration for the national credit act. Written off and prescribed debt might be two different things in some scenarios, hence we will have to investigate with RCS and get back to you as to the status of this account.
