Dear Ms. Ferris

Thank you for raising your concern with us, and for the payments that you have made towards settling your account.

Your Settlement Letter was sent to your confirmed email address on the 8th of September 2022.

Please take note of the below regarding your credit profile:· Only our client (the credit provider) can submit updates regarding your payments to the credit Bureau to update your credit profile.

·  The client generates the paid-up letter upon receipt of the payment and same should reflect on your account within 14x days.

·  Upon receipt of your payment, the credit provider must send the information to the Credit Bureau within 7x days from receipt of the payment to update your profile.

·  The Credit Bureau then has 7x days from receiving the updated information from the Credit Provider to update it on their records.

·  Updates usually takes about 60-90 days to reflect on your credit profile; however, your negative payment history will still reflect on your credit profile for about a year and will still influence your credit score. It takes time to rebuild your credit score after defaulting on an account.

Alternative options you may consider:o   As the debtor/consumer you are allowed to enquire what reflects on your credit profile directly with the Credit Bureau, you can submit your paid-up letter directly to the Credit Bureau’s for them to update your credit profile if the formal process takes too long.

o   Or, you may contact our client (the credit provider) to enquire regarding the status of your account on your Credit profile.

Trust that you find the above in order.

Kind Regards
