Abusive, condescending, arrogant and barbaric interaction with debtors

I would like to write a review about NORTON LAMBRIANOS. I was issued with combined summons by a deputy sheriff this morning, despite the fact that I had a standing arrangement with this firm of attorneys to pay R 2 000 a month towards liquidation a debt. Ever since the inception of this arrangement, I have never missed a month of payment yet without any notice and/or warning whatsoever, the is firm of attorneys found it befitting to institute this drastic legal action against me.

My complaint is that, if this firm of attorneys had picked up a phone to tell me that they would like to review the standing arrangement, I would have not only been amenable to that but also very responsive, yet, to the contrary, they unjustifiable and opportunistically, elect to, at their whims, burden my account with unjustifiable legal action, simply because they can.

The firm claims that they have written and/or text me on a number of occasions, without any response on my part. I deny this assertion and would categorically state that, they will not be able to produce any shred of evidence to this effect. In my view, this is not only an instance of abuse of power but a strategic revenue generating scheme in order to justify needless legal action on someone that is only too willing to make the requisite monthly payments as agreed. The consequent and resultant outcome is that revenue would invariably be generated for this firm and their proxies in the value chain; consequently, I will be burdened with these costs despite the fact that I am bringing in my part of complying with the standing agreement, without fail. So, what is the value of substantive compliance with agreements if they can be flouted upon with impunity.

I duly and instantly called the firm and was served by this fellow that elected to talk down on me, for no apparent reason. He was not only patronizing me but was deliberately intent on hitting me while I am down. I then gave him and offer of R 3 500 pm so that I could stop legal action to proceed and despite this, he just gave me a needless and unprogressive merry-go-round.

He was not only disrespectful, but irritable, needlessly argumentative, irrational, egoistiic and highly opinionated about himself; the audio recording of our conversation will show that he thinks that if I have a debt to liquidate, and he is presiding over it, then my rights must be trampled upon, as he pleases and that he must exploit and leverage my vulnerability, perceived or otherwise.

As though that is not enough, he dropped a call on me midway into our conversation and could not even tell me whether my offer is acceptable or not. You see, this is someone that thrives on harassment, bullying and scare mongering and that he even becomes hateful when he is unable to subject and/or reduce me to any form of obedience and state of fear.

How on earth can such a person be designated with the responsibility to persuade anybody to make improved offers to liquidate their debts even when they are so willing to do so. I have since instructed my lawyers to communicate my offer to this firm of attorneys and ensure that once an arrangement is struct, it can duly be respected by both parties and not be varied at the whims of the other, however powerful they may perceive themselves to be. After all what is the value of agreements if they can be trampled upon with impunity.

As for this fellow, that I am sure would have misrepresented this firm of attorneys and employer; I want him not to be allowed to inflict his crude and barbaric tendencies on anyone alive, with impunity, but that the audio recording of this conversation should retrieved and that a determination should me made as to whether human beings are allowed to address other fellow human beings, the way that he does.

In closing, I see a lot of negative reviews about this firm of attorneys and ask myself why they are not capable of improving from such codified embodiment of performance feedback and wonder whether the time we expend on this input is worth our while or not at all ?
