6 Months Home Registration

On the 25th of July an offer to purchase a house was signed both by the seller and the buyer. This therefore, means nearly 6 months ago by my calculation, a duty to act on the behalf of both the seller and buyer was paid no heed. Or at the very least, not prioritised. We've sat week after week in plain view to a lack of progression, initiative or eagerness from NL Attorneys. This is after paying all fees required, including that of a "runner" to speed the process along. It has recently come to our attention that the lead attorney in our case, had recently left NL Attorneys law firm, without the slightest forewarning. A fact, one of many intimated by our real estate agents, from Jawitz, without which we couldn't be more grateful. The fact remains, had it not been for them, much 'need to know' information would've fallen by the wayside, leaving us completely in the dark. Not only is this negligent, but I do believe these acts are acquainted with an alleged prejudicial motivated agenda. I was promised that this house would be registered in my name, by all accounts the latest the 31st of October, but assured no later than the 14th. It's now the 4th of November, and yet again, we are being milked for occupational rent as though their negligence wasn’t the reason why we seem to keep finding ourselves in the same situations.

For the sake of transparency and respect, I informed the owner of NL Attorneys that an email had been sent to the LPC, Standard Bank, FNB, as well as other parties involved. Only then did he take it upon himself to call me for the very first time in 6 months. I explained that It’s clearly evident the NL Attorney's team has a continuous issue with lack of communication, and professionalism.

As expected, he accused me of smearing the name of his company, himself, and of course deformation.
