Nokia V2 Cellphone

I bought a Nokia V2 at Foschinis 2 months ago.A week ago I mislaid my phone and report it on Google. So I went to Telkom and said to them I mislaid my phone and wanted to do a sim swap witch they did. after that I found my phone but the phone does not want to accept my sim card, because it looks that is blocked. It keeps on saying it needs a password. I presume that it is the Androids password. Foschinis keep telling me they are trying to sort this matter out with Nokia to no avail because this is now going on for a week. I just want to know wat is your opion on this matter. I can not do anything with this phone after I bought it new from Foschinis 2 months ago. Since cell phones came out on the market I stayed with Nokia.
