nokia cancelled ASHA 201 whatsup and facebook

I bought my son a NOKIA ASHA 201 phone. He used it for a year or so but all of a sudden the whatsup and facebook stopped working.<br> I took the phone to MTN. At mtn we were told it needs a software update but for this ASHA phones it can not be done because Nokia or Microsoft has cancelled this software for these phones.<br> The tec cant update it at all. its a Nokia problem.<br> how is it possible for NOKIA to sell a phone with these functions and just to cancel it. Is this fair?<br> now all we can do with this phone is make phonecalls and sms.<br> <br> I think NOKIA should give us a phone with these functions because that is what we paid for. I bought it cash but feel if this was a contract phone, it would have been replaced.<br> <br> Should we just except this<br> <br>
