Gorilla Screen? More like being taken for a ******!

When I expressed interest in the new Nokia range, more specifically the Nokia 5 (which I eventually purchased). I was told the screen was so strong that I wouldn't need a cover, the "Gorilla screen WONT shatter like a Samsung would", and there I was picking up pieces of shattered glass off the floor after I accidentally dropped my phone. Now because the "Gorilla screen" I am being quoted R2000 to get a replacement for a phone worth about R3 500. Atleast with a Samsung you know what to expect so you are ready with a cover and insurance, no one is deceptive about the superiority of their product.
