Ford NMI is a ****! Terrible customer service.
My name is Ms. Xolile Mbili from PMB. I would like to express my deepest disappointment regarding the horrible service I received from Ford NMI Pietermaritzburg. My car was towed on 27 August 2026 for a diagnosis. They only performed the diagnosis on 07 September, stating that they were fully booked. I kept on asking them how far along with the process, eventually they told me it's a clutch of whi which I had suspected but I needed confirmation from professionals. It is painful and stressing me out that even today my car has not been fixed, claiming that they don't have a clutch pedal. I called their customer service; I didn't get assistance, instead I was told the part was ordered on 22 September and should arrive in South Africa in October 20th. When I asked why the delay to order part they are lying to me blaming each other for not conveying messages. In all this hustle, I am working in a place where you can not find public transport easily. I asked them to speed up the process and I stated my case. But no positive feedback. I feel hurt and disappointed. Ford led me down. They dont care about me, it's like I don't matter. If I had money, I was going to sell this car and partways with Ford and their horrible service scares me me. The PMB staff members are Dash from parts, parts manager, Julian, Siya service provider allocated, and Gareth, the store manager. This experience made me wonder is this Ford treat it's customers? As consumers are we safe to be buying Ford cars if we have to wait this long to receive the parts? Do the staff members fully understand what customer service is? Truly speaking Ford is not a good place to buy a car. I am emotionally depressed, and psychologically. Please send this my complaint to Ford CEO Mr Jim Farley that I am hurt. Is there a way of maintaining a good customer happy? Because right now, ai am unhappy.
Please advise on the next step to take formally.
