Worst service and response ever
My 2010 Nissan Pathfinder V9X has been standing at Springs Nissan for three weeks.
There is no water pump available in SA. It took Nissan SA two weeks to give us a delivery date. First they said 13 February 2018, which is ridiculous. Then orders had to be changed, that took four days, then another four days for Nissan SA to give Nissan Springs answers.
I took it upon myself to communicate with Nissan SA as I realized that they have a no-care, how-do-you-******-you attitude with Springs Nissan and me as a client. They are not bothered in the least to be pro-active, and show initiative to put in a decent effort to bring the delivery date forward.
I first spoke to Precious at Nissan SA, she withdrew and Mathews took over the case, but I couldn’t get honest answers. Now Mathews is no longer available and I have to deal with Monica, every time I have to explain my predicament right from the beginning. The answers that was given was vague without any solution to the problem. It seems that they (Mathews & Precious) has no authority at all, they have to deal with customers but can’t make decisions, the supervisors that does have the authority just don’t care.
In the same time I logged a complaint online with Nissan SA with a lady names Venecia, she has not responded in a week.
I asked on numerous occasions that their supervisor/manager should contact me without any response, at least they can send a message stating their un-willingness, lack of responsibility, in-ability, negativity towards clients, to engage in a conversation to find a solution to the problem. Or just tell me straight forward to buzz off or take a hike, they can even use crude language to tell me to get lost, at least I have an answer and will know what to do!
I received a new date for the ETA which is 10 December, but taken into account that two weeks has already passed, it is still not acceptable. THE NEWEST DATE I RECEIVED THIS MORNING IS 16 DECEMBER. I am in the mining industry, I import equipment from Italy, on breakdown it takes me 5 days to have a 10 kw motor 800 L x 500 W x 500 H, weighing 422kg in SA. How can it take Nissan so long to bring in a water pump, weighing 3kg, THAT IS NO BIGGER THAN A SHOE BOX. It is totally pathetic.
In the last 4 weeks I also had to wait for the following:
• V-belt – two days (this should be ex-stock at the dealers) • Electro magnetic pick-up bracket on viscous fan (ordered wrong as parts list is wrong, one week) • Viscous fan - two weeks • Top water hose - two days
I have been driving Nissan’s my whole life, but I think this is coming to an end now.

I’ve contacted opposition yesterday to replace the two NP 300’s, I’m advertising my Navara and will sell the Pathfinder once it is repaired one day, due the fact that I’m just sick and tired to struggle to get parts & have a fight to receive decent deliveries on parts.
I’m well aware that I’m one person and Nissan won’t even realize they lost sales. But at least I will have some sort of satisfaction for what it’s worth.
I don’t expect an answer as no-one has bothered to attend to my please and requests.
As a sales & marketing Director for many years, I know at least that an attitude like that will cause Nissan SA to loose market share drastically, which is already evident if you measure Nissan vs Toyota 1980’s to current standings.
