Was given the incorrect spare kry with my car

I purchased my Nissan Micra fro Produkta Nissan in 2012, I stay in Pretoria so it was delivered to me. Earlier in this year I locked my keys in my car with my puppy still inside, after getting someone to collect my spare key we realized it does not work, it is not even the same key. I do not feel this is my responsibility to check as a buyer but in future I will.

I had to break a car window to get my puppy out as he had been in the car for more than an hour, after contacting Produkta Colin said he would send me the piece of metal for the spare and I need to then take it to Nissan to be coded. I don't think it's fair but I accepted. Now 2 months later I would like to sell my car which I also cannot easily do without the spare key! I am getting no feedback or any responses.

I feel that I can claim the money for the screen back from them and be a very difficult customer seeing as it is so impossibleto send me a piece of metal.

Please advise on how I can solve this.
