Unwarranted Repair and Poor Service - Nissan Motus Centurion

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received from Nissan South Africa, specifically regarding an issue with my Nissan Magnite, and the handling of this issue by Nissan Motus Centurion.

On 18 April, while driving, the vehicle suddenly began to lose speed and displayed a series of critical error messages on the dashboard: "Check anti-pollution system," "Check Hill Start Assistance," and "Check ESC."

Given that the vehicle was nearing its next scheduled service (with approximately 1000 km remaining), I decided to take it to Nissan Motus Centurion for both the service and to diagnose the cause of these concerning errors.

Upon inspection, Nissan Motus Centurion identified the problem as a disconnected cable, stating that it was no longer connected to the harness. Shockingly, they informed me that this issue would not be covered under my warranty, claiming that the cable appeared to have been cut. They further stated that this alleged cut was the reason for the malfunction of the turbo and other related systems.

I find this explanation and the denial of warranty coverage completely unacceptable. I can assure Nissan South Africa that no one has opened or tampered with the vehicle at any point, except for when it has been taken in for its regular servicing at authorized Nissan dealerships.

Dear Given, thank you for taking the time to share your concern with us. Kindly note that we are aware of all the facts and evidence surrounding your vehicle and can assure you that we have also reviewed the full history on the vehicle and could not find any evidence of previous work completed by a Nissan Dealer in the area where the wiring is cut. Based on this the dealer confirmed that the failure is not due to a manufacturing or material defect or workmanship liability but due to external factors and therefor it will not be covered under warranty. Kind regards Nissan S.A

I find this response or explanation vague. No further investigation was done to show that the fix was worth my quoted price (R49067.87). Is not like the harness is broken or all the cables were cut off, it's just one cable that came out or worn out due to the position of the harness, so the dealer says the whole car needs rewiring, and you agree with it. No further advice, see a different dealer for the second option, come on, think again, this is unprofessional. I believe you could have handled this case differently. I am so disappointed.
You have lost a customer. Bye, Nissan.

Good day

Though you ignored my reply over a year ago, I am still not happy.
