UNHAPPY NISSAN MAGNITE CUSTOMER
Disappointed to learn today that Nissan South Africa is knowingly selling their Nissan Magnite with inferior breaks. I have read a couple of other reviews on this platform - ALL with the same issues.
I purchased my Nissan Magnite 1.0 Acenta Plus CVT in November of 2021. Since then I have only driven 23593km and now Nissan is telling me that my front Discs and Break pads have to be replaced.
At my last service (Oct 23) I reported that there was a grinding noise coming from the breaks, and they advised that there was nothing wrong. I have therefore continued to drive the vehicle, and now I am told that the discs are worn with only 2.9mm left and that on average the discs last 20-25km!!! The repair costs over R7000 and is not covered by the extended warranty I took out.
To me, this sounds like a cop-out for poor service delivery! Nissan needs to be held accountable for their error and for knowingly continuing to promote these vehicles.
