Unfair treatment
Few years ago, I went to Nissan Roodepoort to request a car radio code and it was done. 3 weeks ago again my car radio needed a code as It went for major repairs, I was told that I needed to pay R750 for a code. when I tried to argue the fact that the same service was done free few years ago, I was told it was a new requirement and I cannot be helped. The new fee or change regarding any fee should have been communicated with me as a brand user of Nissan and that was not a case.<br> I cannot afford to pay R750.. <br> <br> please help me.

23 Apr 2015, 11:21Hello sibongilesiyale1,
Thank you for your comments and we take note of the content.
Please note a radio code is issued on sale of a new vehicle from a Nissan Dealership.
Should the code be lost or misplaced, a new code will need to be issued against the specific vehicle.
For security purposes, a radio code will only be issued on validation of the serial number through a Nissan approved dealership. The labour cost in this instance is to remove and refit the radio to obtain the radio serial number as there is no cost for the radio code itself.
We want to assure you that there are no hidden costs. We refer to the telephonic conversation earlier today with Marco Jacobs from the Nissan Customer Support Centre, and Andries De Jager, Service Manager from IC Auto Roodepoort will also be in direct contact with you to make the necessary arrangements.
Our offices will monitor the progress of the concern until completely resolved.
Kind regards
