Terrible service from Nissan SA
Very bad service. We bought a new Nissan NP200 at the end of June 2023, and in February 2024, the vehicle had gearbox issues (the batch and VIN numbers were checked and confirmed that there are a few vehicles in this batch with this problem), which was confirmed by more than one dealership, but Nissan SA denied having any knowledge of this (which is impossible) and didn't offer any assistance whatsoever. They were happy to have the car booked in for three weeks (this vehicle is used for business purposes and we couldn't afford to not have a vehicle for three weeks - the business would not have survived), but they were not interested at all. We also found out that it take 2 days to fix the gearbox, but due to Nissan SA's internal processes, it can take up to 3 weeks. And Nombusa, the case manager, is useless - she was just reading Nissan SA's script. If it wasn't for Group 1 Nissan The Glen, who came to our rescue, we would have to close down our business. They arranged a loan vehicle and the vehicle was fixed in two weeks. Surely there can be more understanding and each case assessed on a case by case basis. They just don't care if your business goes under or not - just keep to the script!!! *********, lying bunch.
