Terrible Service from Nissan
Terrible Service from Nissan – I have been almost 4 weeks without my vehicle. My 2016 Nissan X-Trail broke down on the side of the freeway and it was towed to the nearest Nissan dealership. Unfortunately, this was Nissan Woodmead. It took them 11 days to have the vehicle assessed after which the turbo was then replaced under warranty. I collected my X-Trail on Wednesday the 2nd of June, two and a half weeks after it was towed to Nissan Woodmead.
The next morning the vehicle would not start and needed to be towed back to the Nissan dealership. The battery is completely dead – the car needed to be manually opened as the remote unlock function would not even work. Even after recharging the battery the battery is completely dead. I found this strange as the battery is just over a year old and there were never any issues with the battery prior to it being towed to Nissan.
I have been requesting a serial number or any information on this battery for several days now, with no response. As Nissan Woodmead was the dealership that had originally replaced the battery in April 2020, they should have record of a serial number or some number to identify the battery as car batteries have warranties on them.
All this time, my vehicle sits at the Nissan dealership, and I do not have my vehicle.
I have been pleading with Nissan Customer Service to assist and there is still no resolution. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
