Second hand Troubles

<p>I purchased a second hand VW from Nissan East Rand. Within the first week the dealership took the car back to fix some issues (one was airbag warning lights) promising to have the car go to VW, which it didn't (As per the postion tracking). The car had the same airbag lights come on again and had it fixed. Using tracking one can see the driving reports of "harsh accelartion" and "Harsh braking" and getting to speeds of 112kmph around east rand mall. The vehcile then some 2 months later dropped a value causing major damage. VW reported the motor was opened (outside of the FSH records) and a rocker was left on the head. This was a worrying surprise. Nissan told me they not sure what I have done with the vehicle (implying I had the motor opened) and refuse to have the car fixed, also claiming i have driven out to much milage since they sold it. Besides being within CPA, there is no accountablity or alternative offers to my request for taking the car back or having it repaired.</p> <p>Just a friendly warning, both curtosy cars i had with 30000km's to 50000km's on the clock all had issues from airbox problems to miss firing. It seems generally the 2nd hands are troublesome.</p> <p>Nissan head office also refuses to offer any help claiming each dealership is independantly owned. So much for taking comfort in a "big brand" like Nissan. Very disappointing.</p>
