Ridiculous Cost for Spares

<p>I am utterly disgusted with Nissan and the cost of spare parts. I wanted to replace the plastic wheel arch trim that sits on the fender just above the wheel as mine as minor scratches on it. So go to Nissan and get told that for the front one it will cost R3800 and the back one is R1500. Firstly how can there be such a vast difference in the prices between to to identical things and then the second issue is the ludicrous price they want to charge for a piece of plastic. This is outrageous. Nissan don't design a 4x4 that has plastic trim on the side of it that is prone on getting scratched. I am shocked about this. I am sure I can order the part from Japan and have it shipped here at ala fraction of the price. I am tired of being ********** by the car industry in this country. </p>
