Radio codes
I bought my mother a Nissan Tiida on Sunday for mothers day cash. It had a problem with the battery so I got a discount for that. I bought a new battery and the radio stop working as it needs a code for that. I went to Nissan in Midrand to get the radio codes to my shock I got a rude lady that was not welling to help me. explain to her and she just gave me attitude and said i need to pay R750 and have the car booked in. <br> <br> To my understand they only need a vin number and radio serial number to get the code for the car and it's the same. Reason i say this is because I once bought a Renault with the same issue and Midrand branch did give me the code without paying any cent. When ever the radio needs a code, I was using the same 1. why should I pay for something that belongs to me? it's my property now. If this is how Nissan SA treats their client, they can kiss my money good buy. That is why I own a BMW.<br> <br> I will never advice anyone to buy a Nissan, even my worse enemy. Too bad my sister just bought a Nissan Juke.

For Security reasons and to protect you as the Owner of the vehicle there is a labour cost involved to remove the radio in the event that the original radio code card is not in the vehicle as when it is sold.
