R2129.63 to have my car scratched!!!!

My car was serviced today.While at the workshop, I was informed that I had a chip on my windscreen.I was unaware of this, but agreed to have it repaired.When I collected my car, I was charged R2671.13, about R500 over the quote-excluding the R250 I was charged to have the \chip"repaired"
