Poor service when purchasing second hand vehicle

I bought a VW Caravelle from Nigel Nissan and had endless problems with regards to the repairs of the vehicle which I only had for 6 days.

1. On the 23/09/2015 I collected the bus after I was promised to have it 18/09/2015 and I got stuck in front of Autocity Nigel with my first attempt to start the bus. The workshop said they put in a new battery.
2. On the 24/09/2015 I had to put in a new battery and called Wessie to tell him as the bus could not start and the \new "battery they fitted was red which meant it had to be replaced. Leaving for Warmbaths.
3. On the 27/09/2015 I returned with no pleasure for the whole long weekend and I send Wessie the first email with my list of complaints.
4. Autocity collect the bus on the 28/09/2015 with half a tank of diesel to sort out my list.
5. Autocity delivered my bus back - 06/10/2015
6. -07/10/2015 I took the bus for a test drive and got stuck with the gearbox .

The Dealer Prinsipal Christopher Strydom confirmed on the 14/12/2015 that the deal would be cancelled and all my money refunded by the 16/12/2015.

Until today it has been over 3 months and I am over R 45 000 . 00 out of pocket."""

Hello Cammeron,

Thank you for making Nissan SA aware of your concern and we take content.

It is important to note that some of our Nissan Dealership are multi franchised meaning they retail other brands as well as Nissan.

We will escalate the matter through to the Dealer Principal of Nigel Nissan, Chris Strydom who will be in direct contact with you.
