Poor quality of goods

My father bought a brand new Nissan Xtrail from Nissan Ormonde. He done 33000km mileage with this car and the car is only 18 Months old yet the clutch and pressure plate has failed. He had an Xtrail in 2012 with a similar clutch problem at 33000 kms and he opted to buy a new one. This was a frustrating situation as he cannot understand how two car's clutches can fail with so low mileage. He sent the car to Nissan for an evaluation as it is unheard of that a clutch could fail at such low mileage. A third party inspection was done and the outcome clearly states \All of the wear patterns show correct operation and function of the clutch assembly
