Please inform clients before hand.

On the 30 March 2016, I took my car for a service at Nissan Centurion. I was, sometime in the afternoon, phoned that the car was in wash bay for cleaning. Was later informed that car is ready for collection.

I was however disappointed , when opening the car bonnet to discover that the engine was not washed.
I contacted Nissan, Centurion, was informed that, car engines are no longer washed when a customer has brought in a car for service. I was surprised to hear that. I believe, this decision was taken by Nissan South Africa in order to avoid causing damages to electrical appliances. Is this true? if that is so, as a customer, one should be duly advised when bringing one's car, that car engines are no longer washed. This will save one trouble of having to phone garage for answers. Please communicate such vital information to all your clients.

Hello ShandukaNdaba,

Thank you for making us aware of your concern. It is important to note that the engine is a sensitive area of the vehicle and should be protected. We will however validate the comments made to you and provide feedback.

Kind regards
