Pathetic Service from NTT Nissan Newcastle KwaZulu-Natal
I purchased a Nissan Magnite from the Nissan Newcastle Dealership on the 8th of November, since Nissan had issues with registering my Personalised number plate, the vehicle was only delivered on Monday the 11th of November with personalized number plates but a different registration number. I was told that the personalized plates registration would be sorted on Tuesday the 12th of November only to receive a call saying that they were unable to do so and they will refund me the registration fee to do it on my own. Being a customer who paid the full amount in cash, this is not the service that I expected or received from any other dealership.
I'm unhappy with the performance of this Magnite.
- It really struggles on an incline.
- When I'm at a complete stop at a robot or stop street, it takes too long to get to the rerve pitch to take off, by the time it's ready to take off the next vehicle is already there so I have to stop again.
- When overtaking there's no power whatsoever, with the accelerator flat it really struggles to get passed the vehicle.
I have asked the dealership many times for my Tracker Certificate and to note in my manual about the service plan but that was never done.
I have never received anything in writing stating that the vehicle is 3 Cylinder neither did I receive any documents from Nissan Newcastle besides the invoice.
I was asked to sign many pages but were not told what I am signing for.
Nissan Newcastle serviced it today and have not found any defects. Upon letting Nissan know today that they did not mention anything about a 3 cylinder to me, a gentleman called JP blatantly said “well you drove the vehicle before buying it” – a test drive for 2km certainly will not show me the performance of the vehicle.
I have requested to return the vehicle as I am unhappy, but Nissan has offered me R215 000.00, yet I purchased the vehicle, cash, exactly two weeks ago for R240 000.00. To this date after requesting many times for a report on what was tested to show that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle, I have not received anything showing this.
I was charged for a full tank of fuel on my invoice but received 3/4 tank of fuel.
I understand that vehicles depreciate but it is very unlikely that it could have depreciated by R25 000.00 in two weeks.
I definitely will not recommend NTT Nissan Newcastle to anyone as their service is pathetic.
