Outright lack of service from Nissan

My Nissan navara went in for a service and the sump was stripped by either DTM Nissan helderberg or Nissan Milnerton, initially I was told to pay over R6000 for a new sump then when I challenged them about how the sump was stripped the two dealerships proceeded to blame each other for causing the damage. In response to this I contacted Nissan South Africa and requested that they get involved and resolve the issue. I have been without a vehicle for almost three weeks and have not as yet had confirmation of when I will get my vehicle back. After numerous phone calls to Nissan SA with many promises made I still have no solution. A sub par repair of cutting off the sump plug section and welding on a new piece has been suggested which I am unhappy about but am at a loss as to what to do. I find it very disappointing as the vehicle itself is wonderful just a pitty the service is so terrible.

Good afternoon Navachab

I have been in contact with Nissan customer care constantly over the last two and a half weeks all to no avail, they have promised feedback time and time again and I still have no resolution. As of yesterday I received feedback that the vehicle was in the same state as it was over two weeks ago.

Thanks k you very much for your response.

Regards

Brad Pienaar
