Nothing changed after 5 months of service and more that R12000
Una (my sister) gave her car in for repairs on 16 June 2018 at the Rustenburg branch. She included a list of items that needed to be fixed. The list included the following: need to replace water daily; no power over 3000 refs; temp gauge going on and off; engine light coming on; turbo noise; aircon not working; suspension issues. Over the course of month or so (21 June-7 August), there were no communication from Nissan Rust., unless Una first requested an update. And every single time, there were some "reason" why the car was not fixed. About 25 September we contacted Nissa SA via twitter. Eventually she got a case number. Case Details: Case Number: ********** 0 Assisting Dealer: Lionel Motors Date Logged: 2018/09/05 Consultant: Vanecia Ndhlovana Despite apparent pressure from Nissan SA, and regular requests for updates, the car was ready for pickup only on 18 October 2018. 5 month after initially taking the car in for repairs. The problems seems to persist. The aircon still don't work. The headlights, which was part of the initial list she gave the dealer, were still not really fixed. There are still a noise while driving, and some times the car rattles, especially when I want to pick up speed. I am sure this is unacceptable.
Una paid the costs for parts up front. Yet she also had to pay more than R12000 for a car that still has the same issues from before she gave the car to the dealer.
