Not concerned about safety and bad quality parts used
I am extremely dissappointed in Nissan for 2 reasons.I purchased a new Nissan qashqai in 2017. I was changing a wheel at home when the jack gave in and the vehicle almost crushed me. Luckily I had placed other supports underneath the vehicle. If I had not done this (or if the wheel was changed next to the road) God knows I could have lost my leg(s) in the process or could have been ****ed. Upon inspection I see that the jack being supp**** by Nissan is a 1.15t jack. The vehicle weighs 1.825t according to the nissan brochure. Which is way more than the supp**** jack can handle. I also had to replace a battery at mostly my own cost as the battery they supp**** did not last costing me another R1700. I also have a caution light that comes on every now and again. But when I take my vehicle to Nissan they dont know what is wrong. For all I know this light is indicating a problem which is causing the battery to drain.
