Nissan South Africa Not Supporting Any Phone Apps For Nissan Leaf

I own a Nissan Leaf in SA. Nissan Global is sticking it's head in the sand about software for any of their EV's in Africa. They just palm us off onto Nissan SA that does not want to know. Nissan SA admits they do not want to offer, host or support any of the Nissan Connect EV apps here. One can download the apps from Google play, and they install, but do not give South Africa as an option, and do not recognise the VIN if the vehicle was sent to Africa. My Leaf is 2014 and was imported by Nissan SA and sold from Nissan, but Nissan SA now ducking and diving their responsibilities. I mean this is essential monitoring, management and control apps for this vehicle. So I am losing a big chunk of the functionality of the vehicle. Nissan seems to have no interest in the EV market in SA if they are sabotaging the adoption of their EV reputation like this. Huge gaping black hole here. Door wide open for Tesla to come clean up. Totally apathetic. So sad.
