Nissan South Africa is Apauling
Absolute worst service imaginable. About 2 months ago my Nissan Sentra started overheating after it had the 60 000 km service done by Produkta Nissan in Nelspruit. After a massive battle to get a courtesy car from them I had to wait for a month and half for my car to be repaired. After numerous follow up on our side never once being updated on the status of my car, I finally received my car back unwashed and filthy after standing om their premises for nearly 40 days. Only to have the exact same problem happen to me again while driving in a dangerous area with my daughter in the car on our way back home from holiday not even 6 days after I got my car back. So on Sunday afternoon at 14h00 Nissan Roadside Assistance was contacted. I have to be at work on Monday at 7h30. I am stranded 340km from home. I receive a courtesy car at 19h00. I have to stay over I cannot drive at night alone with my daughter in the car she is 3 yrs old. I have to miss a day at work for travelling. I am told then that the rental car is only for 24 hours and the closest Nissan agency will do an assessment on my car and make sure I have a car by the end of the next day. It is Tuesday 27 March 2018 and I have no transport home as I have not been assisted by Nissan as they promised, I stay 40 km from work. My child is at school and no one to fetch her. I have to rely on strangers to assist me to get home. I have to come back to work tomorrow and I do not have any transport because Nissan cannot deliver on their promises. The Dealer Principal Gerrie at Produkta Nissan tells my husband at 16h30 he is not aware of this problem although his workshop foreman has been promising my husband feedback the entire day. I have to pay someone for my transport now, I had to pay R 1500 deposit for the courtesy car I barely had 24 hrs and Nissan does nothing. This is my second review of Nissan and never once has anyone even made an effort to contact or apologize for this apauling service. I cannot believe your vision “enriching people’s lives” or your slogan “ innovation that excites” as you have done the exact opposite to my life. When did it become OK for corporations and dealerships to treat a loyal customer this way. I am disgusted and I will be publishing this story on all media platforms.
