Nissan Radio Code - Lack of Service
Well, I am shocked by the attitude of Nissan South Africa. I could not afford the exorbitant cost quoted by CMH Midrand so I took my car to a car audio company and after a much lesser charge they took my radio out and blue toothed a photo to me of the serial number. When I phoned head office to find out to whom do I email the serial number to so that I can receive the code for my radio to work they told me that I have to go to a dealer and that Nissan SA do not accept emails from the public and I don't have any other choice to get my radio working. If this is the help I get, which is no help at all, it will be the last Nissan I every buy!

Thank you for your comments and we take note of the content.
For Security reasons and to protect you as the Owner of the vehicle there is a labour cost involved to remove the radio in the event that the original radio code card is not in the vehicle as when it is sold.
As discussed with Dain Naicker from our Nissan Customer Support Centre, the matter has been discussed with Riana, Service advisor at CMH Nissan Midrand whom you may contact directly and she will gladly assist you with the radio code.
Please be informed that the Nissan S.A Customer Support Centre will assist in ensuring that the matter is resolved speedily and will also be in contact with you directly to update you accordingly.
